Metso Maintenance Solution: Conditional Maintenance System
Metso, is taking maintenance management to the next level. With innovations to traditional practices, making the maintenance process more accurate, simple and responsive. Our customers can expect a fully automated maintenance tool which can be used online and offline in remote location.
Metso Maintenance Solution (MMS), a centralized software designed for mining operations, is offering “conditional maintenance”. It can predict when the next maintenance service is required based on operating conditions. This includes operational parameter that requires scheduled maintenance such as production, power consumption, vibration, oil conditions, wear and more. The outcome is a dynamic scheduling process that prioritises maintenance tasks based on status of the variable being measured.
The MMS solution include customized documents and mobile devices to manage automatically standard work orders, and interactive documents. including: procedures, Interactive check lists, Lubrication Routines, Bill of Materials, Meter Readings, etc. The tool can be used online through mobile phones or offline in remote mining environments.
As an added value Metso Maintenance Solution (MMS) can connect with PowerBI for a close follow up of variables and readings that are part of the maintenance statistics, providing to high management a wonderful tool to track equipment performance and key KPI’s for better decision processes
Metso is pleased to have successfully launched the MMS software in Indonesia and Mexico, supporting the operation of 105 machines and 350 components. The system automatically generates 120 preventative tasks per week managing 1200 inventory parts using a dedicated SAP interface. KPIs such as equipment and labor costs, production statistics, operation, downtime reports, availability, reliability, efficiency inventory costs and spares consumption are being tracked online.
